“So go and make followers of all people in the world. Baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach them to obey everything that I have told you to do. You can be sure that I will be with you always. I will continue with you until the end of time.” Matthew 28:19-20
We believe that one of the ways that God is going to spread His glory throughout the earth is through local churches, large or small, throughout the world. Our very small local church voted to donate $1,000 to our “Flood India with Jesus Pens Campaign.” With those funds and our promise to match donations, we will be able to send 1,000 pens to India and the Middle East. At the very least, that is 1,000 opportunities to share the Gospel with unbelievers in those countries. We never imagined that we would be able to send so many pens to India. But, once again, God has done so much more than we ever imagined. It is through acts just like this that Jesus will overcome the world… just one faithful, Jesus-loving local church at a time. God seems to like using the small things of this world to make big impacts for His Kingdom.
Thank you all so much for your prayers and your support. Will you please pray especially for the people of India and the Middle East? Will you pray for God to use the ministry of Jesus Pens to save many, many people? Will you pray for God to begin, even now, preparing hearts to receive the Gospel? Will you pray for those using the pens to share the Gospel to be bold and obedient? And may we all give God the glory and worship He deserves.
